West London Flat

We had such fun decorating this one bed flat in West London for our wonderful client Poppy Jamie. Poppy is such a bright, bubbly and joyful person, and we have reflected this in her Interiors. As an entrepreneur, Poppy started the app ‘Happy not Perfect’, co-founded accessories brand Pop & Suki, she has just finished writing her first book, and is constantly recording fascinating Podcasts. Therefore, we wanted to create an inspiring and uplifting atmosphere in every room of her West London home. The flat was completely unfurnished and bare when we arrived, but Poppy did already own some of the beautiful artwork you can see on her walls. These included the Damien Hirst butterfly, which we used as a springboard for her Living Room scheme. We used a brighter Damien Hirst, with Pop art connotations in the Study as it allowed us to use brighter and bolder colours. The Living Room is a soft, peaceful space, whilst the Study is vibrant and elevating! We bought the bookcase in the Study off Vinterior and painted it in two tones of yellow from Lick Paints. Poppy is amazing in supporting small and upcoming businesses, with her lamps from the Cambridge House, all curtains and blinds from small retailers on Etsy, and various accessories from by Alice Home. Poppy’s bedroom is airy but soft, with light pink slatted wardrobes, antique lighting and voile lined curtains.
